Welcome To The HSSA Academy

The ELIAS learning platform is specifically designed to deliver customized online training courses of short (one hour or less) or extended (consisting of several modules) duration.  We provide highly personalized courses, each of which consist of individual or group assessments, as well as a certificate of completion.  Each course provides hands-on case-based applications and are designed to increase the learner's technical skills and workplace productivity.  Courses are designed and taught by current or former university professors, executives or clinical practitioners.

THE LEARNING ASSESSMENT: It is difficult to make a personalized learning plan without knowing the gaps in each learner's skills.  ELIAS' course assessment tool measures skills, identifies gaps and benchmarks your skills against other employees and/or former students who enrolled in the same course.  Knowing exactly where you stand, relative to others, allows the instructor the opportunity to design course syllabi that best addresses your needs.

MAXIMIZING YOUR POTENTIAL:  as experienced university educators, with extensive classroom and online teaching experiences, we understand the need for delivering a high quality, student-focused learning experience.  Each course is designed for working professionals, lifelong learner or individuals interested in complimenting courses they are enrolled in elsewhere.  With your identified needs in mind, we work closely with clients to design course content that maximizes their overall learning potential.   

CUSTOMIZATION NOT COOKIE-CUTTER: our belief is that each course must be customized to the specific needs of individual learners or groups of learners.  Too often learners are faced with online course offerings that are based upon the assumption that previously designed course syllabi are applicable to all learners. That need not be the case.  HSSA academy courses begin with baseline course syllabi, however, each is subsequently modified according to the needs of learners.  Prior to beginning a course we utilize information obtained from your pre-enrollment learning assessment to determine which topical areas to emphasize, relative to others.  This saves the learner both time and money. 

WORKPLACE FEEDBACK: an essential component of education is advising and assessment. The skills that a learner acquires in the classroom should be aligned with their workplace capacity building needs.  The HSSA academy advisor feedback loop consists of a series of post-course communications with former learners to determine which aspects of our courses have been most effective at achieving their personal or professional capacity building goals.
